Snoop Dogg Releases 18th Studio Album ‘From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites’

Snoop Dogg

American rapper Snoop Dogg released his 18th album titled From Tha Streets 2 Tha Suites.

The album is Snoop Dogg’s 18th studio album which he released on Tuesday just in time for the annual 4/20, a holiday for cannabis users as one of Snoop Dogg’s favourite “holiday”.

True to its nature, the 10-track album, his follow-up to 2019’s I Wanna Thank Me; includes two cannabis-centric titles, Roaches in My Ashtray and Left My Weed. The album features some long-time collaborators like KoKane and Devin the Dude, as well as Tha Eastsidaz, Big Tray Deee, and Goldie Loc.

Snoop paired the release of his new album with the drop of its first single and music video Look Around. For the visual, Snoop—who has few iconic album covers of his own—brings to live legendary album art from other rappers. Along with Ice Cube’s AmeriKKKa’s Most Wanted, Snoop celebrates Ice-T’s Power, Redman’s Whut? Thee Album, Slick Rick’s The Great Adventures of Slick Rick, and more.

Last month, Snoop rescheduled his UK and Ireland tour for a third time to 2022. Meanwhile, Snoop has also teamed up with Ice Cube, Too Short, and E-40 to launch a hip-hop supergroup called Mt. Westmore.
