Last night was the premiere of Dear Affy and at the event, eelive caught up with BBNaija reality star Sir Dee, who made his debut in the movie.

The actor expressed his excitement at seeing himself on the big screen for the first time, calling the experience incredible.

He also commended the filmmakers for putting such a great movie together and being inclusive with the casting.

During the course of our conversations, Sir Dee talked about the fallacy of fame. The BBNaija star revealed that the expectations of being famous differ starkly from reality.

In his words, “Expectations are quite high, from everybody. There is the misconception that if you have a million followers, you’re a millionaire”.

He also talked about the standards that you have to meet as a public figure and the pressure to “act the part”. “There is a certain standard to live up to, even if I try to be myself in everything”, said the breakout star.

Sir Dee seems determined not to let fame change his identity. But let’s see how things go when he gets even more famous; the actor revealed that he is currently working on three more productions, including one with MTV.
