Nwachukwu Ozioko aka Vast, who is the lead vocalist of the popular music group, Bracket, has welcomed a baby boy.
The singer shared the news on his social media page alongside a picture of his new born.
‘2020 was both good and a bad year, but in all I thank God Almighty for blessing me with this adorable little man! #Iloveyouboy#”
In 2013, Vast was diagnosed with lymphoma (cancer of the blood cells). He was flown to London to receive treatment and is now officially cancer free.
In an interview with Vanguard newspaper, the singer opened up on what he learnt from his experience.
“I learnt that life is very precious. No matter what you do and wherever you are, don’t look down on anybody because you don’t know who will help you tomorrow. Another thing is that you don’t have to be scared of death. You have to face the challenge. Live a normal life. If you are scared of death, you will die. At a point, when I got very scared, the sickness came in full force, but when I started picking courage, it subsided and I recovered,” he said.
