Nigerian singer Tobechukwu Victor Okoh, popularly known as Peruzzi, has revealed that he is suffering from a spinal cord injury.
The doctor cum musician stated that his condition was detected through an MRI scan in a tweet on Friday. He added that he won’t be working out or performing as advised by his doctor.
He went to ask for prayers from his fans while revealing that he is scared about his condition.
“So MRI shows my spine is fucked. Doctor says not to stress, work out or perform for now. Kinda scary but yea, we move. Say A Prayer For Me Cos I Got This,” he wrote.
Peruzzi started his musical career with Golden Boy Records in 2016, before getting signed to Davido Music World (DMW) in 2018, home to the likes of Mayorkun and Dremo.
The singer has both written and sang a good number of hits such as Majesty, Lagbaja and Nana. He was nominated for the Rookie of the Year at the 2018 Headies Awards.
