Veteran singer, Olalekan Fadeyi popularly known as Azadus, has shared his COVID-19 experience.

In an interview with HipTV, the See Trouble singer who recently celebrated his recovery from the infectious disease said, he was going from one hospital to the other for three weeks before discovering he had contracted the virus.

He added that his experience after being diagnosed of COVID-19 was horrible.

“I went from one hospital to the other for three weeks. After some time, a doctor called me, and asked if I’ve ever put it into consideration to do COVID-19 test, my immediate reaction was what’s wrong with this man…

“My experience with the virus was horrible. Imagine coughing from 10:00 pm up until 6:00 am… it wasn’t as if the coughing started after a while, then it left me, I slept and started coughing again… No! I kept coughing straight from 10:00 pm till 6:00 am for days, the diarrhea was out of this world, the body pain was crazy. I don’t wish it for my worst enemy,” he narrated.

Azadus, however, advised members of the public to always put on their face masks should they consider going out, and keep social distancing at all times.

“It is very essential that we wear our face masks if we have to go out. We need to always put it on, Face mask is a lifesaver, so if you must go out, wear your mask, and keep a distance from people, see the next person as that COVID-19,” the singer advised.
