As body shaming among Nigerian women continues to surge, singer Adekunle Gold recently took to social media to masterfully shame body shamers and body critics, following the altercation between OAP Kemi Smallz and a twitter user.
Here’s what happened
A critic on twitter trolled Nigerian OAP Kemi Smallz after she shared a photo of herself flaunting her cleavage.
The body shamer wrote: “Do you unintentionally unbuttoned dose fallen breasts.”
Smallz who wouldn’t let the critic get her down, responded to the tweet with a fiery comeback:
“Yes, I deliberately, willfully, purposefully, consciously, intentionally did. I have the perkiest titties my darling but then again, so the fuck what if they are fallen?”
However, reacting to the tweet, Adekunle Gold wrote:
“The way people abuse women for having fallen breast, you’d think a woman is the reason their breast is “fallen”
Moreover for celebrities, especially female celebrities being body shamed is nothing new. Still, negative commentary about appearance is running more rampant than ever, thanks to internet trolls. However, more celebrities are making an effort to tackle online body shaming.
