How to recognize an AI-generated image:
In recent times, content creators and social media users have succumbed to the usage of Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools such as DALL-E, Midjourney and Meta Ai to create images.
Most netizens have been unable to differentiate between an image taken with a camera (phone or professional camera) and one designed with AI tools.

Here are simple ways to recognize the difference(s):
- Check the background of the image. It’s always usually blurry. As seen in the photo below, Ai-generated images do have events ongoing behind it.
2. The faces of the characters are usually always too smoooth. Trust me, no one is that perfect, indeed, people are beautiful, but not impeccable.
- Their hands are not always properly detailed. Check out the palm of the character (our case study)
Just minor differences from real photos, subtle but still worth noting.
