Nigerian musician, Deborah Oluwaseyi Joshua, professionally known as Seyi Shay, has congratulated Barbadian musician , Rihanna Fenty, on her pregnancy.
The news that Rihanna is expecting her first child with rapper, A$AP Rocky, recently broke out when photos of the star’s baby bump surfaced online.
While congratulating the 33 year old star, Seyi Shay on Tuesday, Shay stated that she knew about Rihanna’s pregnancy last year. She tweeted,
“Big Congratulations to @rihanna.This is the best news I’ve heard this year (but knew since last year).”
This is coming only days after Seyi Shay opened up on her engagement but refused to comment on her rumoured pregnancy.
Rihanna’s father, Ronald Fenty, has also expressed excitement over his daughter’s pregnancy. He further revealed that he only knew about it on Sunday night. He stated,
“I just got the news from her last night, and she sent me some photos. I’m just over the moon. She’s beautiful inside and out.”
