Nigerian singer and instrumentalist Seun Kuti is set to make a cameo appearance in Kunle Afolayan’s much-anticipated movie Citation.
The award-winning Director, Afolayan announced on his Instagram handle page this morning; that Seun Kuti will be making an appearance in Citation.
There, he also invited fans to join the recording which will take place at the amphitheatre of the Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife later this evening.

Seun Kuti seems to be having a very productive year. First, he announced that he would be performing at Coachella this year. And now the multitalented politically conscious artiste will be starring in a movie!
Citation is Afolyan’s upcoming campus-centred film tackling the issues of sexual harassment in high institutions.
It will feature outstanding actors like Jimmy Jean Louis, Gabriel Afolayan, Ini Edo, Sadiq Daba, and Bukola Oluwasina. Temi, daughter of Nigerian billionaire, Femi Otedola, will also star in the movie.
The film, which got support from Access Bank, Cannon and a number of other companies will be shot on locations in Nigeria and Cape Verde.
