Lovers of Hulk Hogan and wrestling, get ready to rumble!
It has been revealed that a biopic is being made of wrestling legend, Hulk Hogan. In the upcoming movie directed by Todd Phillips, who also directed the upcoming DC Comics movie, The Joker, popular actor Chris Hemsworth has been announced as the man for the job.
Chris Hemsworth is pegged to play the role of one of the all-time biggest name in wrestling. Needless to say, the transformation will be epic.
The biopic will be produced by Academy Award winner, Michael sugar through his company, Sugar23 alongside Todd Phillips and Bradley Cooper, producing through the company, Joint Effort.
According to a report by The Hollywood Reporter, deals for the Hogan flick are almost finalised with Netflix. Hulk Hogan started his career in the 1970s in the Florida wrestling circuit and is considered to be one of the biggest names in the business.
His biopic will not cover the whole of his life. Instead, it is shared that it will center on his rise and is described as the origin story of his Hulkster and Hulkmania empire.
