In an ironic twist, Yul Edochie, Nollywood actor and filmmaker has now claimed that ritualist roles are perfect for him.

This comes after the veteran actor had warned fans off asking him about where they could actually do money rituals. Then, he said he was just an actor and really knew nothing about money rituals.

However, after a recent post on the actor’s Instagram page, you can understand where the fan messages are coming from. Edochie posted a behind the scenes from a movie he’s working on and wrote,

“Bros leave am, Ritual Movies na my calling. The facial expression, the body language, everything. I make such characters look so real. Now I understand why boys dey say make I cut soap for dem. If no be say I know myself I for dey fear myself small. I used to be a lover boy in movies, what happened?”

A while back, Edochie had emphasized that he was just a very good actor and knew nothing about money rituals. He has played a lot of roles in his movies where he’s portraying a ritualist, which led fans to believe he might know a thing or two about that life.

The actor also posted messages he had received from fans. One fan asked him how he could get into money rituals, saying he was ready to give a sacrifice if need be. Edochie added that this was a regular occurrence for him and pleaded with fans to quit sending messages like that.

Yul Edochie is the son of legendary Nigerian actor, Pete Edochie. He was named after Russian actor Yul Brynner. Edochie appeared in his first movie in 2005 titled “The Exquires” alongside the late Justus Esiri. Since then, he’s gone on to act in over 30 movies.
