Barbadian-born singer and business mogul Robyn Rihanna Fenty is a phenomenal woman in every right and she never stops winning. Rihanna’s album “ANTI” has spent over 200 weeks on the Billboard 200 album chart.
The 2016 Rihanna album has been on the charts ever since its release. This makes her the first black woman to do so in the chart’s 61-year history.
This milestone comes amidst anticipation for the singer’s ninth studio album. Rihanna teased the upcoming album in an interview with American Horror Story star, Sarah Paulson.
Rihanna is still working hard despite her pause in music. Earlier in the year, she released a coffee table book with Phaidon, had her first Savage x Fenty show and released a T-shirt that says No more music.
Billboard reports that Rihanna was ranked the seventh most-streamed female artist on Spotify in November.
Rihanna is a Barbadian singer, songwriter, fashion designer, actress and businesswoman, who has been recognized for embracing various musical styles and reinventing her image throughout her career.
In her 16-year career, Rihanna has moved from singer to makeup mogul to designer to lingerie designer. Rihanna uses her love for fashion to include women who other designers leave out.
Her Fenty Beauty line has the most inclusive shade range, runs very dark, and takes note of undertones. The Fenty label also just won big at the British Fashion Awards.
Yet, fans are still eager to return to the Rihanna that sang and danced for them. Hopefully, she keeps to her promise and releases the new album in 2020. Maybe that one would break more records.
