When news broke out that Temi Otedola and Mr Eazi were dating, speculation started floating around. Some believed Mr Eazi was just a gold digger, and he was out for her money; Temi is the daughter of Femi Otedola, a renowned Nigerian billionaire. Others believed they wouldn’t last as most celebrity relationships don’t last long.
It has been four years since they officially started dating and we are relieved to see that they proved their doubters wrong. They launched their podcast, How Far, where they discussed everything about balancing their relationship with careers. Temi and Mr Eazi are in a relationship that complements each other beautifully, and today, we’ll discuss five reasons why they are relationship goals.
Temi Made The First Move
Temi put the “the man asks the lady out first” to shame. According to their podcast, Temi does not go according to society’s playbook, where everyone expects men to make the first move. In the podcast, we learned that she moved on to Mr Eazi first. The couple sat together at one of Dj Cuppy’s (Temi’s sister) events, and Temi admitted that she was attracted to him.
However, when they started talking, Temi said Mr Eazi seemed obnoxious and was an asshole. Still, mr Eazi said he only acted that way because he didn’t want to fit the stereotype of Nigerian artists who people believe love having many women. They met later at a Drake concert, and it was a bit awkward because Mr Eazi had two ladies with him.

Temi started dating Mr Eazi when she was 21, and to most African parents, that is quite young to be in a serious relationship. However, the family accepted Mr Eazi with open arms and have accepted him as Temi’s boyfriend. Demo Otedola, her father, even hangs out with Mr Eazi, and he is more or less a part of the family already.

This is one couple that is determined to grow together. As mentioned earlier, Mr Eazi and Temi recently launched a podcast together, and they have garnered many fans already. The ‘How Far’ podcast is available on Apple Podcasts, Google podcasts, etc. I listened to a couple of episodes myself, and it is admirable how they are so different yet flow together.
They Give The Best Gifts
Yup. This couple has gone to several lengths to give each other memorable gifts for their birthdays. Once, during Valentine’s Day, Mr Eazi gave 200 roses to Temi as her gift. What a sweet gesture! On Mr. Eazi’s 26th birthday, Temi had a plane fly a banner with the inscription, “Happy Birthday Mr. Eazi! Love, Temi”. From a private dinner to vacations, Mr Eazi also makes sure he spoils his baby boo.
