Nigerian rapper, Olanrewaju Ogunmefun, better known as Vector, is celebrating his daughter’s sixth birthday.
The rapper, taking to his Instagram page on Thursday, shared photos and video to mark his daughter’s birthday.
He captioned the photos “It’s Milaré’s day today. My daughter turns 6 with a beautiful mind. I always say I’m happy that I get to be my kid’s father because I know me.
“Now the twist is, I can only get to know her and that’s where the adventure is, and finding out your person has been nothing but amazing.
“Amidst all the madness my love, know that you, just like everyone else, are destined to add value to humanity. As you get older, you will wonder sometimes why some don’t seem to know this fact but you will also see why you are on your own journey.
“The day will guide you and the night will shield you. Happy birthday to you my love. One more Barbie doll to the collection again.”
In February, Vector revealed in a chat with Punch that he has no plans to run for an elective position.
Vector said “I did not even plan to be vocal in the first place. I grew up with the mentality that Nigeria could not be good again and that opportunity comes but once. I have seen realised that is a silly belief. As a kid growing up in the middle of such false arguments, there was no way it was by my doing that I chose to do my best.
“My parents raised us to be content, so that must have aided my stance, now that I think about it. As for running for an elective post, I don’t have any intention as we speak; but I have been told, even in the barracks, that they are waiting for me to run for office. I have always said to myself that I am willing to contribute to whatever must be done for the good of society.”
