AMERICAN rapper, Daniel Hernandez, known professionally as 6ix9ine, has explained that he snitched on his gang-members for purpose.

Returning to the public eye on Friday, May 8, 2020, after spending nearly 18 months in prison, the convicted felon who was labeled a snitch after testifying against members of the Nine Trey Gangsta Bloods during his trial for his federal racketeering and firearms case back in 2019, said he didn’t do anything wrong.

In a highly-anticipated Instagram live chat, the controversial rapper explained that the betrayal started from the gang members who attempted to murder him, and at the same time, having a romantic affair with his baby mama, Sara Molina.

“Where was the loyalty when you were sleeping with my baby mother,” he said while hinting at rumours involving one of the gang members and Molina. “Where was the loyalty when you were caught on the wiretap trying to kill me? Where was the loyalty when you tried to kidnap my mother? Where was the loyalty when you stole millions of dollars, so who broke it first?”

During the live chat which broke Instagram record after attracting over two million views, the tattooed Brooklyn rapper detailed how he wasn’t really into the gang game, saying he only saw hip-hop as a way to get out of poverty and feed his family.

“When I met son, he was sleeping on the rug! ‘Listen, I’m a Mexican, rainbow-haired kid and I rap. I’m not about that gang s–t, but I know how to get us out,'” 6ix9ine said. “If you can’t hold me down out here in the free world, what makes you think if I would’ve held it down, you wouldn’t violate me in prison?”

Recall that 6ix9ine was indicted over a year ago on racketeering and firearms charges along with five other men, all of whom were named as members of the violent gang alleged to be operating a drug-trafficking enterprise.

During his trial, the rapper surprisingly to many cut a deal with the government and testified against two former associates, Aljermiah Mack and Anthony Ellison, whom he described as high-ranking members of the notorious gang.

The rapper subsequently offered a rare look inside the inner workings of the murderous street gang, which he claimed to have joined to advance his budding music career.

6ix9ine listed what he said was the gang’s hierarchy and claimed several prominent persons in the United States entertainment industry were gang members, including Jim Jones and Cardi B.

The rapper’s testimony shocked many music artistes and members of his former gang, provoking many to denounce his cooperation with law enforcement.

In a series of a tirade on Twitter, rapper Meek Mill labeled him a snitch and a rat.

Can 6ix9ine stay winning in the music industry with his broken relationship with colleagues?
