The burial arrangements for the late Nollywood Actress, Rachel Oniga, will hold on the 26th and 27th of August.
The deceased’s son, Tunji Oniga, stated this in a telephone interview with the News Agency of Nigeria on Wednesday.
According to him, the wake keep will hold on 26 August at her residence in Magodo, Lagos State wih her burial set for 27 of August.
Tunji Oniga, speaking further on the death of his mum, he said “My mother’s death is shocking to me, in fact, I don’t believe she is dead. When I see her phone ring and she is not there to take the call, the reality dawns on me.
”She was a philanthropist, who was always bothered about the needs of others,” he said.
Rachel Oniga passed away on July 31 at the age of 64.
Originally from Eku, Delta State in Southern Nigeria, Rachel Oniga was born on 23 May 1957 in Ebutte Metta, Lagos State.
In 1993, She began her acting career in the movie titled Onome and her debut Yoruba movie was Owo Blow.
Rachel Oniga featured in notable Nigerian films such as Sango, a movie scripted by Wale Ogunyemi, produced and directed by Obafemi Lasode and Wale Adenuga’s television series, Super story.
