In his first interview since his arrest last month on charges of sexual abuse and other allegations, R&B singer, R.Kelly has spoken out quite emotionally about his position on the matter.
Speaking with Gayle King in the interview that is set to air on CBS This Morning on Wednesday and Thursday, Kelly said that all the allegations against him were false. After speaking for sometime, he grew emotional; screamed, cursed and pleaded to the camera while he said: “I didn’t do this stuff! This is not me!
He said: “Hate me if you want to, love me if you want. But just use your common sense. How stupid would it be for me, with my crazy past and what I’ve been through — oh, right now I just think I need to be a monster, hold girls against their will, chain them up in my basement, and don’t let them eat, don’t let them out!”
“I’m fighting for my f**king life!” He continued.
The American R&B singer charged to court in Chicago in February with 10 counts of aggravated criminal sexual assault involving four women, all of whom were under-aged except one.
He was remanded into custody and was subsequently released after a woman who described herself as a friend of Kelly posted a bond of $100,000.
