Nigeria’s queen of daytime television Funmi Iyanda has returned with another talk show named Public Eye, which premieres today. Instead of television, the show will be on Instagram Live at 8 pm every Friday on @publiceyeng.
Tonight’s exclusive features the Director-General of the National Center for Disease Control (NCDC) Dr Chikwe Ihekwazu, human rights activist, and Executive President, Women In Africa (WIA) Hafsat Abiola-Costello and strategic security and intelligence specialist Dr Kabir Adamu.
The show also has a YouTube page, on which Iyanda dropped the Public Eye teaser.

The Instagram broadcast series will touch on a variety of topics and stories during the social distancing period. It will likely focus on how the population trudges through one of the most unexpected and difficult eras in modern history.
Funmi Iyanda is well known for her activism and advocacy for the less fortunate members of society as well as her passion for human interest stories.
All her former daytime shows have had these as their main theme; so it will not be surprising if this show talks about how the unpreparedness of the government has resulted in the suffering of its people.
Stay tuned, stay home, and stay safe.
