Prince Harry & Oprah Winfrey announce new mental health series

Harry Winfrey

Prince Harry is collaborating with Oprah Winfrey for a new docuseries that addresses mental health. The docuseries will premiere on Apple TV+ on May 21. The series is expected to promote the normalisation of mental health among celebrities.

Harry and Winfrey are hoping that the show would highlight and sensitize people on issues of mental health. They also intend to do this by sharing the everyday life and struggles of popular figures.

Harry had revealed recently that he had suffered from mental struggles of his own. He hopes the fans and viewers will understand that celebrities are human too and they deal with unresolved traumas and grief too. “We are born into different lives, brought up in different environments, and as a result are exposed to different experiences. But our shared experience is that we are all human.”

The Me You Can’t See

“The majority of us carry some form of unresolved trauma, loss or grief, which feels – and is – very personal. Yet the last year has shown us that we are all in this together, and my hope is that this series will show there is power in vulnerability, connection in empathy, and strength in honesty”, Harry adds. Meanwhile, the show will be titled, “The Me You Can’t See.”
