Pregnant singer Halsey has announced that she is starting a charity for soon-to-be parents.
The 26-year-old singer said that she got the idea while shopping for her unborn child; as she realised how expensive baby things were. Halsey said in an Instagram video, “Fortunately I was lucky enough to be able to provide everything that I needed.
“But in the process, I realized how expensive it is to start a family, and how many parents out there were probably struggling to provide the things that they need,” Halsey continued.
So Halsey, who is 8 months pregnant, announced her partnership for the charity with Babylist in the same video; to compile a baby registry of some of their favourite items to help first-time parents like herself. With Babylist, Halsey is also asking for donations in support of Baby2Baby via The Great Group Gift initiative; to which the artiste and Babylist already donated $100,000.
