The Nigeria Police Force (NPF) has interrogated embattled singer, Dapo Oyebanjo aka D’banj for allegedly raping a lady, Seyitan Babatayo.
According to a top police official who doesn’t want to be mentioned, the music star fondly called Koko Master, was grilled by an Assistant Commissioner of Police, Adaku Anya, at the Force Criminal Investigation Department, Garki in Abuja.
The source also stated that a statement was taken from D’banj, where he insisted that he never raped Babatayo as claimed.
“D’Banj has been questioned twice at the FCID, Abuja. He was questioned last week and also this week. We will leave no stone unturned as we investigate the matter,” Punch quoted the police source as saying.
Recall that some weeks ago, D’banj was called out on social media and accused of rape. After over a week of silence, D’banj responded, saying the rape allegation was false and an embarrassment to his wife.
Following D’banj’s broken of silence, there has been a series of developments on the matter. While the accuser kept unraveling how the Emergency singer raped and intimidated her, D’banj has since been denying the accusation.
