Ongoing Nigerian reality TV show, Big Brother Naija, has spurred a lot of reactions from viewers, celebrities inclusive, as they all take to social media to air their views on one topic or the other about issues going on in the house.
Popular Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye is not left out as he took to Social media to pledge allegiance to Tacha. According to him, if Tacha does not emerge as winner of the show, he will singlehandedly support her with N60 million, the grand prize for the BBNaija winner.
While Tacha’s fans expressed joy over this news, some Nigerians did not see it as a “reasonable” potential action as they claim “there are better things to do with money”.
Among Nigerians who slammed this action is the popular social media critic, Uche Maduagwu.
According to him, the singer is only coming out to make an open show of wealth in a bid to seek attention.
“Before you give Tacha 60 million Naira if she does not win BBNaija 2019, how many borehole have you built in your village?,” he wrote.
He went further to refer to Peter as an “upcoming artiste”, adding that the singer had only made little money throughout his music career.
Uche’s post spurred mixed reactions from Nigerians who have now found a home in his comment section on I.G.
