Peter Okoye announces ₦48 million win following Chelsea’s victory

Nigerian singer, Peter Okoye reveals that he is now ₦48 million richer after the Chelsea and Real Madrid game on Wednesday. The game which saw the London club conquer their Spanish counterparts has favoured Okoye greatly.

Chelsea is now qualified to play the Champions League final with Manchester United. According to Okoye, he win a $100,000 following Chelsea’s win.

Okoye added on his Twitter post that he is billed to win another $100,000 if Chelsea beats Manchester United in the finals. In his tweet, Okoye writes, “Who would believe I am $100k richer tonight after Chelsea’s win against Madrid and the individual is about to get $200k bet again in the finals against Man city.”

The One More Night singer currently runs a lottery project which he launched in 2019. According to him, the betting platform, Zoom Lifestyle is an ‘entertainment lifestyle lottery’. At the time, subscribers were urged to join to win up ₦2 million daily.

The subscribers have the chance to win cash and other prizes. The prizes range from music video shoots to ‘concert tickets, back-stage passes, sport and business mentorship and more.’ Meanwhile, ZoomBet, a virtual sports betting platform was also announced in 2020.

Okoye now known as Mr. P is one half of the defunct singing duo, P Square. The father of two was in a group with his twin brother, Paul Okoye before the split some years ago.

Fans had been hopeful that the two would have a comeback since they went their separate ways in 2016. Several speculations were flying by for the reason of the separation.

The 39-year-old has made many hits since going solo. His brother, Paul who now goes by Rude boy, has also released many hits of his own.

In a few interviews since the breakup, Mr. P has revealed that his brother was disrespectful towards his family. He is married to Lola Omotayo-Okoye. The couple have been together since 2012.
