2021 Big Brother Naija housemate, Pere Egbi, has rubbished claims he is having an affair with Rashida Bello, Kogi State’s First Lady.
The reality TV star, taking to his Twitter handle on Tuesday, described the claims as a “demonic lie”.
Pere then stated that he will take legal steps against one Jackson Ude, a journalist who made the claim, as well as those who retweeted the tweet.
He wrote “For the records, the publication about me and the First Lady of Kogi State is a demonic lie and a figment of a diseased imagination of Jackson Ode and those retweeting that rubbish they must answer me in court both in Nigeria and in the United States of America where he is based.”
Jackson Ude, a journalist, had recently alleged that the actor and Rashida are lovers.
In a now-deleted post, Ude had alleged that the Pere and Kogi State First Lady were sighted together severally at an hotel in Abuja.
He claimed “Why is #BBNaija Pere Egbi all over the place with Kogi first lady, Rashida Bello? Gist around Abuja says that they are lovers.
“Egbi and Mrs Bello are said to have been sighted severally at the Hilton Hotel, Abuja. The gist is that when they first met, first lady gifted Egbi N5 million.”
