The event will take place live from Philadelphia at the legendary Fillmore for what fans are calling the “Ultimate Verzuz.”

Fans are hoping that Gladys Knight and Patti LaBelle will play their Grammy-nominated Superwoman collaboration featuring Dionne Warwick and written by Babyface as well as classic hits from their days as the leading ladies of two legendary groups in soul music.

Gladys Knight & the Pips claimed their success in the late ’60s and ’70s with signature hits such as Midnight Train to Georgia and Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye). Knight, who has won seven Grammys, went on to release solo classics such as License to Kill and Men.

Meanwhile, LaBelle, along with her group, rose to fame with hits such as Lady Marmalade; which Mya, Lil Kim, Christina Aguilera, and Pink remade in 2002. After she went solo, the two-time Grammy-winner released several hits such as If Only You Knew, On My Own, and New Attitude to name a few.
