The General Overseer of The Redeem Christian Church of God, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has admonished Christians across the country not to stop praying for Nigeria.
The man of God stated this during his ministration at the Redeemed Christian Church of God Thanksgiving service held on Sunday.
He also expressed gratitude to everyone for their prayers and gifts during the celebration of his 83th birthday.
He said, “I want to beg you not to stop praying for Nigeria. You know at the beginning of the year when God asked us to fast for 100 days and he said the first 30 days should be prayer for Nigeria.
“Without explaining details, that should have told us Nigeria needs prayers. We’ve already done the 30 days but don’t let us stop. Just keep praying for Nigeria so that our Tomorrow will be alright.”
This comes after he said that God revealed to him that a time will come when the church’s Governing Council will hold its meetings on the moon.
“I know with God all things are possible,” he said during the service. “He told me a time will come when the RCCG Governing Council will hold its meetings on the moon. It may not make sense, but that’s God. You don’t have to believe it—but it will come to pass.”
