Nollywood actress, Dakore Egbuson-Akande, has been appointed as a jury member at the 2021 Paris International Film festival.
Announcing her excitement, she wrote on social media; “Bonjour #dakorians🦅💫💋 So thrilled and honored to be named as a juror for the 2021 edition of the Paris international film festival!”
Dakore also emphasized on the importance of films as a tool for change.
“We have a unique and necessary opportunity to become more inclusive across all disciplines to better appreciate our diversity and bridge the gaps so we can create a better world and film is a very powerful tool for these changes to begin,” she said.
Dakore shot into limelight with the movie Emotional Crack and has featured in over a dozen movies. She took a 5 year break from acting after she got married and returned in 2012 with Journey to Self.
