Five years after their heartbreaking disbandment, British-Irish pop band One direction, has reunited to celebrate their 10- years anniversary.
To mark their decade-long journey, the pop band launched their anniversary website and penned emotional posts on their respective social media pages.
The short teaser anniversary website features photos of the members, and the names of their five albums – Up All Night (2011), Take Me Home (2012), Midnight Memories (2013), Four (2014), and Made in the A.M. (2015).

To commemorate their anniversary, One Direction singer, Niall Horan, 26, posted a picture of the group and wrote; “When I met these four gentlemen, there was no way I thought we would continue to do what we did.”
Harry Styles, 26, also shared a photo of the original five members and wrote; “Struggling to put into words how grateful I am for everything that’s happened over the last 10 years.
“I’ve seen things and places that I’d only ever dreamt of when I was growing up, the fine Line. “I’ve had the pleasure of meeting and working with some of the most incredible people; and gained friendships that I know I will treasure for the rest of my life. None of this would be possible without the support you’ve given along the way. And for that, I will be forever thankful.”
Comprising of Liam Payne, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson, and Zayn Malik, One Direction was formed in 2010 by music mogul Simon Cowell during an episode of the British singing competition series, The X Factor.
Although they didn’t win the competition, the band went on to have an illustrious career, touring the world from 2011 to 2015, and winning countless musical awards.
On March 25, 2015, Malik left the group and the four remaining members continued to release music until 2016 when One Direction took an indefinite hiatus. Since then, the members have gone a long way as far as their solo careers are concerned.
