Apart from Omotola Jalade-Ekeinde, multiple celebrities have come forward to debunk the false realities that social media presents to fans; so they don’t feel the need to measure up to things that are not even real.

Joke Silva, Tonto Dikeh and Funke Akindele, as well as BBNaija alum Sir Dee, are but a few celebrities that have advised fans not to put pressure on themselves to match up to what they see on their screens.

Many of the influencers and actors and actresses are bankrolled by companies they represent and are regularly gifted luxury items. It would be a mistake to assume they buy all the things.

All in all, fans need to be careful of content that create want instead of inspiration and entertainment because in the long-term, it could result in insecurities and bad financial decisions.
