Declan Rice admits to finding inspiration in the song named after him, ODUMODU BLVCK.

Teezee, the CEO of Native Records, explained in a new interview how the release of Odumodu Blvck’s single ‘Declan Rice’ coincided with the rise of Declan Rice’s career.

He also admitted to the rapper that the song inspired his career.

Teezee said in an interview with Blitzscalling Podcast:

‘Declan Rice’s’ success coincided with the rise of the Arsenal and England football star. He scored his first goal for the Three Lions on the day the song was released.

The song was used by Arsenal to announce the signing of Declan Rice. He also became England’s most expensive signing.

The single would win Best Rap Song at the 2023 Headies Awards, propelling Declan Rice to new heights in his career.

Teezee described the song’s and Declan Rice’s concurrent rise as a moment that inspires children to keep dreaming and working hard.

2023 was a huge year for rapper Odumodu Blvck. He emerged as one of Nigeria’s breakout stars thanks to a string of hit singles that catapulted him to international mainstream success.
