Barely two days after Nollywood lost veteran actress, Bose Adewoyin, another veteran, Gbolagade Akinpelu better known as Ogun Majek, has passed away.
Ogun Majek, according to Vanguard, died on Thursday, June 25, 2020, at his Imalenfalafia home in Ibadan.
Although, the cause of his death is yet to be made public; it was gathered that the late actor was battling ill-health prior to his death.
Confirming Ogun Majek’s death, popular filmmaker, Tunde Ola-Yusuf took to Facebook to mourn the actor’s demise.
“From him we come and onto him we shall return. Alh. Gbolagade Akinpelu Ogunmajek has returned to his creator.
“May God almighty rest his soul among the righteous,” he wrote.
He was popular for acting in Yoruba movies, some of which include — Iyawo Aremo, Ayé àjekú, and Ikilo agba.
