Nigerian recording artiste and social activist, Charly Boy whose real name is Charles Oputa has joined the elongating list of personnel who have commented on the ongoing martial woes of award-winning singer-songwriter, Innocent Idibia who is otherwise known as 2 Baba and his estranged wife, Annie Idibia.
It would be recalled that last weekend, 2 Baba Idibia announced that he was divorcing his partner, Annie. The announcement quickly sent social media agog.
Addressing the ongoing conundrum in his recent appearance on TVC, Charly Boy stated that should he choose to divorce his wife, people wouldn’t know.

“I feel sorry for the couple [2Face and Annie Idibia]. It’s unfortunate. But my advice would be, can we just keep our business private, away from the public?
“Social media has changed a lot but it’s up to the people, too. I’m not talking from a saintly perspective. I have had quarrels with my partner but we settle in the room privately.
“You don’t bring it outside to the public to settle. I think that’s wrong because if I were to stop living with my wife today, nobody would know about it. I won’t make noise about it,” he said.
