Chief Daddy

It looks like filming has concluded on the sequel to EbonyLife Film’s upcoming Netflix project, Chief Daddy 2.

Popular filmmaker, Niyi Akinmolayan, who directed the first movie took to Instagram to announce the end of production. He also went on to call the sequel his most beautiful movie yet.

Akinmolayan wrote,

“It’s a Wrap on #chiefdaddy2. I particularly love this one because some of the people I worked with on the first film took on way bigger roles on the second one like my super-efficient 1st AD @ace_classiq who was a PA on the first one. That’s amazing growth. Also got to work with delicious and brilliant producers @msjazzyfied and @ted_abudu again.
Even more, I teamed up with the same Dubai team from The wedding party 2, @akamediadigital, led by the fantastic @yas.obeid. The coolest part of working in Dubai is all the fun stories from the mixed crew of Russians, Arabs, Indians, and more. The knowledge exchange is priceless.
Super thanks to @njagadem for being an amazing partner and DP. Super thanks to @heidiwena for keeping everything smooth and of course the oga patapata @moabudu for constantly pushing us to go boldly where no one wants to go.

Special thanks to Dubai Tourism and Stella Fubara for supporting us and allowing us do more in Dubai this time around. And finally, to all the amazing cast, They brought everything on this one.

Chief Daddy 2 is my most beautiful film yet and I can’t wait for you all to see it exclusively on @netflix @naijaonnetflix.”
