Niniola might have a new bestie from Canada and it might just be rapper, Drake. The Nigerian Afro-House singer couldn’t hold back her excitement when Drake requested her song “Maradona” be played on air while he was co-hosting a show on BBC Radio with international broadcaster, Tiffany Calver.
Niniola has been enjoying some international attention lately as seen by Timbaland calling her dope and following her in Instagram. Tiffany Calver also followed her on the photo-sharing app and then went on to prove that his interest in her didn’t end in liking nice photos.
During the radio show, Calver asked his co-host (Drake) what they should play on their musical break and the rapper wasted no time asking for “Maradona”, Niniola’s 2017 hit single.
She posted this caption on her page in reaction: “When your new bestie @champagnepapi starts to watch your back, while co-hosting the show last night with @tiffanycalver @bbc1xtra”
Go Niniola! A little collaboration with Drake will not hurt anybody.
