While Naira Marley is out on bail, the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has announced that it is ready to present up to nine witnesses in its case against him.
The nine witnesses will tender evidence gathered from their investigation, as well as exhibits found to the court.
Some of the witnesses lined up to testify against Naira Marley include representatives of MasterCard, Visa Inc and Guaranty Trust Bank. Asides from verbal testimonies, they will give up relevant card and account details belonging to Naira Marley in court.
Real name Azeez Fashola, Naira Marley was arrested on 10th of May, 2019 at his Lekki residence alongside Zlatan and three others. He was subsequently held to an 11-count charge of alleged cybercrime and identity theft.
The musician is currently out on bail set at 2 million naira.
