Sterling Bank Plc sparked a debate on Twitter after it offered to partner with Cynthia Morgan, for its ‘One Bank’ campaign.

The bank had taken to its social media page on Monday to announce its willingness to work with the singer — barely a day after she had provoked reactions on social media after she spilled disturbing details of her fallout with Jude Okoye, CEO of Northside Entertainment, her former label.

Sterling Bank said it had followed the 28-year-old dancehall singer’s story and added that it would like to work with her for its “ONE BANK campaign.”

“Hey Cynthia Morgan, we have followed your story and believe there is a bright future ahead of you. We would like to work with you on our ONE BANK campaign. Please get in touch by direct message (DM),” the bank wrote.

Meanwhile, Nigerians have reacted to the news in the funniest ways. Check out what some people had to say about Sterling Bank’s partnership with Morgan on Twitter:

Morgan shot into limelight following the release of two singles titled Don’t Break My Heart and Lead Me On, which received massive airplay and positive reviews from critics. She made her acting debut in a 2016 Nollywood movie The Wrong Number, directed by Saint Joseph ovensehi, and Ay’s comedy movie, A trip to Jamaica.

Morgan, 28, suddenly went off the grid for a year but would later announce a rebrand in 2018, which saw her change her stage name to Madrina. Yet, she wasn’t forthcoming in music.
