Nigerian-American Model, Adesuwa Aighewi is the star of American department store, Saks Fifth Avenue’s latest campaign aptly tagged “No Apologies: Inspiring Women On Owning Their Power”.
The campaign features the model in a military-esque jacket, black high-waist floral lace skirt and a blue poplin military button shirt from Prada.
Commenting on the feature, Adesuwa said; “Never apologise for being yourself. I am African and proud. I don’t apologise for my hair. I was not what people were used to, and then I realised there is power in the way I look.”
Saks Fifth Avenue is an American chain of luxury department stores owned, since 2013, by the oldest commercial corporation in North America, the Hudson’s Bay Company. Its main flagship store is located on Fifth Avenue in Midtown Manhattan, New York City.
