Runtown has surprised a his fans with an early Christmas present; a song titled If E Happen for Lagos (IEHFL).
Produced by Mystro, IEHFL, which serves as the singer’s third single this year, is a follow up to Kini Issue and Body Riddim.
“If you don’t know a wealthy man, you know no one. If you don’t remain watchful, you’ll experience the worse things,” Runtown sings, pointing to the societal issues in Nigeria. “If you haven’t partied in Lagos, you’ve done nothing. Government is trouble. They do nothing.
“That’s how we walk all over searching for the answers. If you ask me, who am I going to ask? The same reason what teh rich are getting richer while teh poor are left to suffer. If it happens in Lagos, let it remain in Lagos.”
