New drama series, Halita to kick off on February 14

A new drama series Halita is poised to start airing on MultiChoice’s Nigeria platforms from February 4.
The story of Halita is set in the northern part of Nigeria. It chronicles the journey embarked by a 20-year old Halita (Chisom Gabriella) in a bid to break free from societal norms that conditioned her community, and also from a shifty suitor. The adventure sets her on a new path of rash experiences with a family she encounters in the city.
Scheduled for weeknights at 7 pm, the series  is positioned to heighten the essence of family time spent in most Nigerian homes, especially with its relatable and teachable moments it captures. The show will be available on DSTV (channel 154) and GoTV (channel 2)
In a press statement, Channel Director, Africa Magic, Wangi Mba Uzoukwu, said:

It is a tale of family, fortune and fate, and is guaranteed to provide the exciting entertaining content that the Africa Magic channels are known for.
