South African Rapper, Nasty C and Nigeria’s Afro-pop star, Burna Boy might be dropping new music soon.
Sometime in April, Burna Boy appeared on Sway Calloway’s popular radio show, ‘Sway In The Morning’, where he discussed topics such as African culture, his new EP, drug abuse in Nigeria, and dishing out a commendable freestyle to top it up.
In the interview, Burna Boy gave a shout out to South African rap sensation, Nasty C, who has now shared the clip with a hint that there might be a collaboration in the works from the two in the nearest future.
In the interview with Sway, Burna Boy declared that Nasty C is currently his favourite rapper of all time, also teasing that there could be collaboration;
“You’ll probably see me with Nasty,” Burnaboy said.
Resharing the clip of Burna’s interview on his Instagram, Nasty C captioned it: “Love to the African Giant, [Burna Boy]. Treats on the way real soon. #CoolestKidInAfrica x #AfricanGiant.”
Burna Boy and Nasty C have both worked with a wide array of artists — the former teaming up with the likes of Lily Allen and Dave; and the latter teaming up with the likes of ASAP Ferg and French Montana – delivering good music each time. As two of the most exciting African acts currently working today, any collaboration between them will surely be a monster hit. Hopefully, their fans won’t have to wait too long to hear what the coolest kid in Africa and the African giant unleash.
