Nigerian singer, Olawale Ashimi, popularly known as Brymo, has opined that his colleagues are more “dangerous and corrupt” than the political class.

The Yellow crooner stated in a tweet on Friday while calling on Nigerians to stop condemning politicians for being corrupt.

“Stop pointing fingers at the Nigerian politician… My colleagues are more dangerous and corrupt than our political class,” Brymo wrote.

It’s unclear what triggered the singer’s comment, however, he went on to proclaim that his latest album, Yellow “is the best album out of Africa in 2020.”

“Yellow is the best album out of africa in 2020, others are most hyped,” he boasted.

The project features several tracks including Esprit De Corps, Blackmail, Ozymandias, Heartbreak Songs Are Better in English and Strippers + White Lines / Smart Monkey.

Brymo‘s proclamation comes amid the buzz surrounding Davido‘s new album, A Better Time.

Davido had on Friday dropped his much-awaited project featuring music heavyweights like Nicki Minaj, Chris Brown, Nas, Lil Baby, Tiwa Savage and Young Thug among others.

The development had ignited heated controversies on social media as music fans debated on which album should be considered the album of the year between A Better Time and Wizkid‘s recent album, Made in Lagos.
