A member of defunct P-Square, Peter Okoye, also known as Mr P, has said his brothers, Jude and Paul Okoye, who formed the pop group, connived together to paint him as a bad person to embattled singer Madrina (formerly Cynthia Morgan).
Eelive.ng had reported how Madrina opened up on her fallout with Jude, saying she lost everything to the Northside Entertainment boss.
Reacting to the dancehall singer’s travails, Mr P stated that she had wanted to engage Madrina in a contract, but she turned him down due to how his brothers had painted him as the bad egg of the group.
He wrote on Twitter; “And some people thought i was stupid when I made the right decision [to leave Paul and Jude]. My dear C Morgan! it’s never to late to be what you might have been. God will surely see you through and carry you through the storm. Keep believing.
“My dear C Morgan, The decision I made 3yrs ago was never about the [fame],money or power! It was for my FREEDOM! Sad you rejected the contract i gave u. Just because they made you see me like the bad egg. I pray you understand that God has a purpose for everything. Never give up.
“The Truth shall prevail. God will surely see you through C Morgan… Gnight.”
Recall that in 2017, P Square had bitter fallout. Ever since, there have been series of claims by parties involved on what triggered their differences.
With the recent disclosure by Mr P, it is certain that their differences are irreconcilable. What is your take on the matter so far?
