On Saturday, April 12, foremost Nigerian socialite, Obi Cubana whose real name is Obinna Iyiegbu turned 50. The birthday celebration has sent social media agog courtesy of the influential figures who appeared at the event.
Dubbed “50 for 50”, Obi Cubana’s 50th birthday celebration was predominantly about the disclosure of luxury, influence, Epicureanism and the demonstration of power. Celebrities used the opportunity to not only celebrate with the businessman, Cubana, but they sprayed the wad of foreign currency to eulogize the impact of the prominent businessman in their lives as a friend, family and a business associate.

The birthday celebration took place at Transcorp Hilton in Abuja. The hall was transformed into a visual symphony of black, white and gold. Giant portraits of the birthday boy, golden chairs, radiant floral centrepieces, and crystal chandeliers were placed at strategic points.
