Popular singer, Tiwa Savage has taken #EndSARS, the movement against police brutality in Nigeria, to the 2020 MOBO Awards.
Performing for the first time at the awards show, which held on Wednesday, January 9, 2020, the self-styled Queen of Afro-beat, thrilled the audience with her melodious vocals during her performance.
As she was ending her performance, Savage sang out and asked, who gave the order? a question directed to the Nigerian government over the massacre of peaceful #EndSARS protesters at Lekki Tollgate plaza on Tuesday, October 20, 2020.
With several blame games and contradicting reporting by the Nigerian Army, and federal and state governments, the question of who gave the order has remained unanswered almost two months after the sad event.
