American rapper, Cardi B did not disappoint Nigerian fans who anticipated her performance at the Livespot X Festival Last week. The rapper performed for an excited crowd adorned in a green and white outfit, depicting the Nigerian flag.
After arriving back in the United States, Cardi B has shared series of posts via her Instastory to reveal she misses Nigeria.
Reminiscing, Cardi B shared a photo of her performance and captioned it with ‘missing Nigeria’.
Upon her arrival in the country, Cardi B began sharing different videos of her experience in the country. You can tell she had a swell time in Nigeria. The rapper toured Lagos, she even adopted the Nigerian name ‘Chioma‘ and asked for the Nigerian jollof rice.
In between her press interviews and media rounds she visited an orphanage and a strip club. She was also presented with a portrait that had been specially made for her by a Nigerian artists.
Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar porpularly known as Cardi B, is an American rapper, songwriter, actress, and television personality. Born in Manhattan and raised in The Bronx, New York City, she became an internet celebrity after several of her posts and videos became viral on Vine and Instagram.
However, from 2015 to 2017, she appeared as a regular cast member on the VH1 reality series Love & Hip Hop. She released two mix tapes before signing with label Atlantic records in early 2017. After rising to fame with her hit single, “Bodak Yellow”, she quickly became one of the most successful female rappers in the world. In addition to this feat, she has received seven Grammy Award nominations winning one.
