Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have finalized their divorce 13 months after they tied the knot.
On Tuesday, a judge dissolved their marriage of eight months by approving their divorce papers, according to TMZ.
The documents cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split. The publication also reported that the judge postdated their single status, meaning neither Cyrus nor Hemsworth will be officially single until February 22.
The divorce settlement which began in December, was quickly finalized as the pair only had a strong prenup and never had children. Cyrus will be keeping their pets, while their properties will be the thing to sort out between them.
The 27-year-old singer and the 30-year-old actor announced their split in August with Hemsworth citing ‘irreconcilable differences.’
Since their split, the former couple have both moved on. Miley Cyrus was dating Brody Jenner’s ex Kaitlynn Carter before she started seeing her longtime friend Cody Simpson, 22. Hemsworth has moved on with Australian model, Gabriella Brooks, 21.
