#MeToo: Hollywood Producer David Guillod Accused of 11 Sex Crimes

David Guillod

Hollywood producer David Guillod has been arrested for allegedly committing 11 sex crimes; including rape and kidnap to rape. He is the latest sex offender in the #MeToo movement; which led to Harvey Weinstein’s 23-year jail sentence for rape and sexual assault in March.

The Santa Barbara County Sheriff’s Office in California confirmed in a press release that David Guillod, 53, of Sherman Oaks, California; turned himself in to the sheriff’s headquarters on Monday following the department’s issuance of a warrant for his arrest.

David Guillod, who served as executive producer of the 2020 Netflix hit film Extraction and the 2017 movie Atomic Blonde, among others; is in police custody. The police booked him on 11 felony charges, the release states.

A lot of the charges pertain to him raping and assaulting intoxicated women. However, his accuser also allege that he is guilty of kidnapping, sexual assault with foreign objects, and other perversions.

“This arrest is the culmination of an extensive investigation that began in 2017,” the official press release reads. A police official at the Santa Barbara County Jail confirmed that as of Tuesday morning that Guillod was still in their custody. The judge has placed his bail at $3 million.

The disgraced producer insists on his innocence and will likely throw a lot of money into a trial like Harvey Weinstein.

According to Guillod’s IMDB page, he has served as executive producer of a number of big Hollywood films. He produced Extraction featuring Chris Hemsworth, 2019’s The Intruder, Bent, April Flowers and Atomic Blonde among others.
