Meghan Trainor Welcomes First Child

American singer and song writer, Meghan Trainor, has welcomed her first child, a son, with her husband Daryl Sabara.

On Sunday, Trainor, 27, and Sabara, 28, announced the birth of their son Riley, on social media. Along with the announcement, the couple shared photos of their baby at the hospital, including an image of the new mom with her son after welcoming him via cesarean section on Feb. 8.

“This sweet baby boy’s due date was today on Valentine’s Day. We got to meet him on Monday, Feb 8th! We are SO IN LOVE,” the singer wrote on Instagram .”Thank you @darylsabara for the best Valentine’s gift ever! Welcome to the world Riley!”

Actor, Sabara, also shared photos of their little boy on Instagram, along with a few more details, noting that Riley weighed in at 7 lbs, 8 oz. “@meghan_trainor you are my forever Valentine and I’m so beyond grateful for you bringing our son into the world,” he added.

Meghan Trainor rose to stardom after signing with Epic Records in 2014 and releasing her debut single All About That Bass, which reached number one on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 chart and sold 11 million copies worldwide.

In 2016, she snagged a Grammy award for Best New Artiste.
