Megan Thee Stallion Calls Out 1501 Record Label

Megan thee stallion record label

American rapper Megan Thee Stallion revealed on Twitter that her record label 1501 has barred her from releasing any more music. She took to her Instagram Live on Sunday to call out 1501.

The rapper, whose success is a direct result of her consistency, will no longer be able to drop a single tune.

This penalty came as a result of Megan simply seeking to renegotiate the contract the signed she signed with 1501 before she had any legal representation.

Megan says she signed with 1501 when she was about 20 years old; there were a lot of things in her contract with them she simply wasn’t aware of. That is until she got new management by Jay-Z’s Roc Nation; which pointed a lot of stuff out to her.

Long story short, Meg says everything was all good and fine until she approached the label and asked to renegotiate; at which point, she says things went “left.”

Megan claims as a result of her asking, the record label has put her and any new tunes on ice. She likens the move to nothing more than greed in its purest form – and it’s clear, there’s beef.
