American rapper and activist, Robert Rihmeek Williams, popularly known as Meek Mill, has reacted to the ongoing protest against police brutality in Nigeria, saying the challenge is worse than it is in the United States (US).
While maintaining that his support is with Nigerians, Meek Mill admitted that people of Africa’s most populous nation are experiencing hell in the hands of policemen.
“ENDSARS I STAYED UP ALL NIGHT WATCHING CRAZY VIDEOS from #Nigeria IT LOOKS 100 worst than what americans go thru with the system! Support our people!” he wrote on Twitter.
With his reaction, Meek Mill has joined notable Nigerian and foreign celebrities, including Beyonce, Rihanna, and Nicki Minaj, who have condemned the massacre of peaceful #EndSARS protesters at the Lekki Tollgate area of Lagos.
Recall that in the late hours of Tuesday, October 20, 2020, many people have reportedly lost their lives to the attack, which Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has been insisting was done by military men.
Although, the military had denied being responsible for the incident, insisting that the video evidence is fake news and shouldn’t be taken serious.
